Validation of a BEM for modelling steady sheet cavitation on marine propellers

The current paper presents results obtained with a 3-D boundary element method which is being developed for the analysis of cavitating marine propellers. A description of the implemented mathematical model for sheet cavitation is given and results of verification and validation studies are presented for both steady wetted and steady cavitating flow.
