Shiphandling simulation meets reality

Podded propulsion used to be exclusively for smaller usually highly specialised vessels involved in harbour or offshore operations. Shiphandling training on those vessels was and is mostly done through on-the-job practice. However,due to ever advancing technical possibilities,podded propulsion is nowadays also applied on large vessels.
