On October 22, 1998 MARIN's Nautical Centre MSCN officially opened its upgraded VTS (Vessel Traffic Service System) and VTMIS (Vessel Traffic Management Information System) simulator facilities. This is the most advanced technological tool being used in maritime vessel traffic.
