On board wave and motion estimator project supports motion-critical operations offshore

An innovative system is being developed to predict quiescent periods in floater motions some two minutes in advance. Supporting offshore operations dependent on the actual vessel motion, this system is the product of a Joint Industry Project. MARIN outlines the project's progression.
