FPSOs are more often applied for the development of offshore deepwater oil or gas resources but for the export of oil (or gas) from the FPSO, tankers are used. In the evaluation of the operational aspects, the risk of nautical operations plays an important role and MARIN is at the forefront of nautical safety assessment developments.
