An increased public awareness of safety and environmental issues, means tanker escorting into busy harbours and terminals, is under the spotlight. MARIN is spearheading a Joint Industry Project (JIP) designed to examine the new and more demanding role of the tug and it invites the industry to work together and explore future opportunities.
