MARIN carried out model tests on the Big Sweep LNG offloading system on behalf of Bluewater Energy Services. The Big Sweep concept consists of an underwater horizontal truss structure connected to the stern of a Floating Liquid Natural Gas (FLNG) system or a Floating Storage and Re-gasification Unit (FSRU).
